תיקון: תשנ״ט
הוראות סעיף 8 לענין הבאת תקופת שירות החובה בחשבון תקופת השירות של חייל ששירת בשירות קבע לפחות עשר שנים או שהוצא לקצבה מכוח סעיף 13, יחול גם על מי שפרש משירות הקבע לפני יום א׳ בניסן התשל״ו (1 באפריל 1976), ואולם לא יינתן מכוח סעיף זה כל תשלום בעד התקופה שקדמה ל־1 בחודש שלאחר פרסומו של חוק שירות הקבע בצבא הגנה לישראל (גמלאות) (תיקון מס׳ 11), התשנ״ט–1998.
