”שטר בנק“ פירושו בחלק זה כל שטר שהוצא על־ידי בנק במדינה או על־ידי איזו חברה רשומה העוסקת בעסקי בנקאות בכל מקום שהוא בעולם, וכל שטר בנק שהוצא על־ידי בנק, שטרי כסף ירדניים שהוצאו בהתאם לחוק המטבע וכל נייר כספי (לא חשוב השם הנקרא בו) באם הוא משמש כמטבע חוקי במדינה שהוצא בה.
