Alma Gov grew up on a moshav and released her first album at 19

Alma Gov was born in 2002 on Moshav Arugot and began learning piano at six. At 19 she released her first album, Meuchar Midai, produced by Boaz Reinschreiber, with seven songs she wrote. After a launch show at the Tmuna Theatre in December 2021 she toured the country, and in 2022 she was nominated for Galgalatz's breakthrough of the year.

In 2022 she released Lev BaKufsa, filmed and recorded live, toured with a string quartet and played InDnegev before about 2,000 people. Her 2023 album Eich HaAhava HaZot Chomeket Bein HaEtzbaot, most of which she produced herself, carried Ma La'asot Im HaZe'ev, which was played on Galgalatz, Kan 88 and Kan Gimmel and came second in Kan 88's song of the year chart. In July 2023 she played the Barby for the first time.

After she covered Monica Sex's Mangina, the band invited her to sing and record its song HaEtz Yihye, and in January 2024 she joined them on stage at the Barby in Jaffa Port. Olam Sheli came out in July 2024, and she wrote the soundtrack for the fourth season of the TV series HaAhayot HaMutzlachot Sheli. In 2025 she released Lifnei SheHakol Nirdam, a joint album with Avner Toag, and in 2026 the singles BaSivuv and HaNefila, the title song of her next album.
