Pnina BaCarmel is a boutique spa at 3 HaTzvi Avenue in Carmel Center, a quiet avenue of pines that its site says is also called Love Avenue, open since 2016. It occupies a Templer building about 150 years old that was built as a guest house for visitors to the Carmel, and its site says it is named after the founder's mother, Pnina. Around a green central courtyard with secluded seating corners are a hydrotherapy jacuzzi under the open sky, a barrel-shaped dry sauna and treatment rooms in soft colours, two of them for couples, and every package includes the courtyard, the jacuzzi and the sauna, robes, spa slippers, towels, coffee, tea and biscuits, for a stay of about three hours. Its treatments run from Swedish, combined and aromatherapy massage to hot stones, deep tissue, ayurveda and pregnancy massage, and two suites let guests stay the night. It is open from 09:00 to 21:00 from Sunday to Thursday and from 09:00 to 16:00 on Friday and Saturday.
