The Magdiel branch of Lechem Artisan, a sourdough bakery and patisserie founded in 1999, on Sokolov Street in Hod HaSharon.

Lechem Artisan is a bakery and patisserie founded in the spring of 1999 by the brothers Haim and Guy Sadot and the late Shimshon Roth; the Sadot brothers learned to bake from their uncle in Toronto and trained for some six years in bakeries abroad. Its breads are made with natural sourdough of wild yeast, proved more than once by hand over a long time and finished in an oven with a stone floor, which its site says gives them a hard, crisp crust and a soft crumb. Its eight branches bake sourdough breads, rolls, bagels and pretzels, yeast and loaf cakes, quiches and its Artiglio pizzas, and its online shop also sells cheeses, jams and spreads from small producers. The Magdiel branch at 7 Sokolov Street is open from 07:00 to 20:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 07:00 to 15:00 on Friday, and is kosher, dairy and parve, under the Hod HaSharon religious council; the town's second branch is on Mevo Kedem in Gil Amal.
