Mezzo, Italian for 'middle', is an Italian restaurant in a building at the centre of a park on Heinz Cohen Street, one of two Mezzo restaurants with the other in Rishon LeZion. Its site says the group is led by three entrepreneurs with long experience of Italian cooking, Mike (Michael) Chen, Sagiv Hai and Bar Tzemach, and that the kitchen works farm to table, buying from Israeli growers. The menu is Italian with local and Mediterranean touches: fresh pastas made by hand, Neapolitan pizzas from dough proofed for 24 to 48 hours, gnocchi, agnolotti and tortellini, and seasonal starters and salads, with vegan and gluten-free menus of their own. It serves breakfast and brunch every day, lunch, and dinner with a list of Israeli and foreign wines. Its site says the Holon branch is kosher mehadrin under the Badatz Beit Yosef.
