Xcape was founded in Kfar Saba in 2015 by Yafit and Nissim Amar, who built its first room, The Hobbit, themselves with their children and friends, its site says. At 26 HaTa'as Street it runs Harry Potter and the Maze of Time, built for children aged 6 to 14 who split into teams of five or six with a bag each, for 3 to 40 players at once; The Dragons' Maze, a technological maze with augmented reality, codes and ciphers for children from 6 to 14 and up to 40 players; and The Maze of Darkness, a strategy game for groups of 6 to 40. Patient No. 8, opened in June 2026, is a horror room with a live actor and a horror maze, for 3 to 10 players aged 12 and over, played in Hebrew or English; its site calls it the scariest room Xcape has built. Games last 60 minutes, the complex has a large lobby with a coffee corner for parents and a private hosting room for up to 50, and it hosts birthdays with pizza, snacks and karaoke.
