Buffet is a food hall of about 1,500 square metres in the Oshiland mall on Atir Yeda Street, designed, its site says, after the great chefs' delicatessens of the world. From the morning its bakery and the café beside it serve breads, breakfast pastries and savoury pastries baked on site, among stalls of fruit and vegetables, a deli of fine cheeses, a butcher's counter, fresh-food shops and stalls of nuts, wine and spices. Towards noon its counters open with deli salads, slow-roasted rotisserie chicken, home-style stews, dishes from a charcoal grill, shawarma and lahmajun, to take away or to eat at its tables at lunch, and its site says it soon became a lunch stop for the people who work in the Atir Yeda business park. On Fridays it holds a food market of dishes packed to take home for Shabbat, and the whole complex is kosher.
