Lachmanina began in the early 2000s, by its own account, when its founder stayed up on Thursday nights to bake bread for the people around her, and grew into a shopfront on Kremenetski Street in Tel Aviv, then shops across the city and a bakery with a factory shop in Holon; its site lists eight shops, Kiryat Ono among them. It sells sourdough breads such as country, rye, spelt and the seeded Nelson, challahs on Thursday and Friday, cakes, cookies, savoury pastries and a deli of salads and dips, and posts its prices on its site. The Kiryat Ono shop opens at 07:30 from Sunday to Thursday and closes at 19:00, and on Friday it is open from 07:00 to 14:00. Its store page lists an accessible entrance, accessible toilets, parking, takeaway and delivery.
