The museum of the moshava of Mazkeret Batya, named for Eran Shamir, on Rothschild Street

The Moshava Museum, named for Eran Shamir, is a museum recognised by the State of Israel and opened to the public in 1987. Its page says it is a place that keeps items of historical and aesthetic value, an educational and research centre and a living, active institution that documents and conserves and also initiates; because of the moshava's character, it leads the conservation and restoration of Mazkeret Batya's historic sites. Its work covers documentation, conservation of sites, tourism, Window to Art (a gallery for art exhibitions), education and a memorial site for the fallen, and its page presents the administration house (Beit HaPkidut), the Levin barracks and the farmer's yard. It tells the moshava's history to its residents, its visitors and visitors from Israel and abroad, with guided tours for groups by arrangement.
