The Israeli Children's Museum in Holon was founded in 2001, and its site says it has hosted more than three and a half million visitors. Its activities share a theme of emotional intelligence and education for tolerance and acceptance of others, and every visit is a guided tour in a small group, booked ahead, with a set age range for each activity. The children's routes include The Enchanted Forest, The Aliens and The Journey to Mend the Kingdom of Time, with shorter routes for toddlers, while the exhibitions Invitation to Silence, Dialogue in the Dark, Dialogue with Time and The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour are also meant for adults. Its site says it was nominated in 2015 by Hands On!, the international association of children's museums, as the best children's museum in the world. It also hosts birthday parties and team days, and has a snack bar.
