A family-owned neighbourhood café on Emek Refaim Street in the German Colony, with a wall of some 40 specialty coffees roasted to order and ground on the spot.

The Coffee Mill was founded by Debbie and Rosie, two cousins who moved to Israel from Chicago; the business began in 1996 and came to Jerusalem in 1999, to the German Colony, as a neighbourhood café with good coffee from around the world and pastries they baked themselves. In 2016 it passed to the family's second generation, who grew up and worked in the café: Leah Breslav, who runs it, and Avi Katz. Breslav had managed the cafés of the Chicago roaster Bridgeport Coffee, following the coffee from the farm and direct trade to roasting and brewing. Today it counts about 40 coffees, all of them specialty: single origins, blends, flavoured and decaffeinated, to drink beside the coffee wall or to buy as beans, in the shop or from its site, with fresh pastries and sandwiches made on the premises.
