Jacko's Street is a kosher chef's meat restaurant at 74 Agripas Street, by Mahane Yehuda market. Its site tells that four friends opened it to serve what they call upgraded Kurdish cooking in a Greek and Mediterranean party mood. It began on HaShikma Street, a street parallel to the market, so that chef Zakai could walk a few steps each day and buy the freshest produce; after three busy years and long waiting lists it moved to Agripas Street, where it seats 150. The site names ravioli in hamusta, red tuna fricassee, Kurdish risotto, asado bruschetta and kubbeh with foie gras among its signature dishes. The group went on to open Jacko San, a cocktail bar with an Asian kitchen, and says it is preparing a larger place on Derech Beit Lehem. Tables are booked online through the site.
