The spa and wellness centre of the Mamilla Hotel by Mamilla Avenue near Jaffa Gate, with a hammam, steam rooms, a couples' private pool, a gym and yoga and Pilates studios

Akasha is the wellness centre of the Mamilla Hotel, entered through the hotel at 11 King Solomon Street or directly from 17 Alrov Mamilla Avenue, and its site says its name means the source of life and harmony. Five treatment rooms combine Western and Eastern traditions beside a private hammam, with separate hot steam rooms for men and women, relaxation rooms, a mosaic-walled pool with a toddlers' pool and a heated private pool for couples. Its menu runs from aromatherapy, deep tissue, reflexology, Thai and ayurveda to hot stones, wraps, peelings, kese and watsu, and its Technogym gym and studios hold daily yoga, Pilates, spinning, TRX and meditation classes for hotel guests and members. Its site says it won two titles in 2024, Best Hotel Spa in Israel from the World Spa Awards and Best Luxury Urban Hotel Spa from the International Spa & Beauty Awards. It welcomes guests from age 16, and the spa is open every day from 10:00 to 18:00.
