A falafel stand on HaMeyasdim Street in Karkur, open since 1966 and known for its large handmade Yemenite pitas.

Falafel Dvora began in the late summer of 1966, its site says, as a small falafel stand in the yard of Dvora's house in Karkur, where Dvora baked the pitas by hand herself, about 200 a day at first, and pulled down the shutter when they ran out. The pitas are still made by hand, and its site says the falafel, the large Yemenite pitas and the thick hummus and tahini are still made to Dvora's recipes, with fresh vegetables and two kinds of hot sauce. Travellers heading north or south still stop at the stand, its site says, and the eating area is in the open air. It is at 29 HaMeyasdim Street, open from 09:15 to 21:00 Sunday to Thursday and on Friday until 15:00 in summer time and 14:00 in winter time, and it is on the Pardes Hanna-Karkur religious council's list of kosher businesses.
