Cafe Shaked opened in 1993 in Ramat Chen as a family café for the people of Ramat Gan, and by its own account it grew into a place people come to from outside the neighbourhood. It is known for its ice cream, some of it in flavours found only there, and it also serves Italian pizzas, pastas and full breakfasts, on a menu that changes through the year. Breakfast is served until noon, and a set lunch from 13:00 to 17:00, Sunday to Thursday. It opens at 7:30 and stays open until midnight on weekdays and on Saturday night.
