A boutique sushi and Japanese restaurant on Lishanski Boulevard in western Rishon LeZion, one of Tampopo's two branches

Tampopo is a boutique sushi and Japanese restaurant with two branches, in Bat Yam and here at 9 Lishanski Boulevard in the Honim Konim complex. Its site says the dishes come to the table on plates in a traditional Asian style, and the menu runs from Japanese pickles, crispy fish and fried calamari to ramen, sushi made on the spot every day (maki, futomaki, fried rolls, cones and inside-out rolls) and more than 30 specials named after its staff and regular customers. Diners at the bar get a tasting of choya, a traditional Japanese plum liqueur. It makes large party platters for birthdays and other celebrations, and is open every day from 12:00 to 22:45.
