Verre Bar is a kosher bar and restaurant on a lively central square at 2 HaShmura Street in Zichron Yaakov. By its own account it specialises in sharing plates and original cocktails mixed by its own bartenders, and it seats 140, so the room is also taken for private events with a chef. The kitchen is meat: house bread with dips, beef cigars, aubergine carpaccio and lahmajun to start, then burgers of up to 500 g, kebab, chicken steak and pulled asado on rice, with beer on tap and cocktails such as an arak and lychee sour. It is closed on Friday, opens again on Saturday at 20:00 and stays open until 01:00 on Thursday night. It is kosher under the Zichron Yaakov rabbinate.
