The Monkeys is an English pub on the promenade of Isrotel's Royal Beach hotel, where the boardwalk meets the beach in Eilat's North Beach. By Isrotel's account it hosts a DJ every evening and live shows by bands from England, its tables spill onto the pavement and the beach, and the music carries down the promenade to a bar that draws people from every corner of the world. It opens every day at 20:00 and stays open until the last guest. The menu pairs cocktails, draught and bottled beer and a long list of spirits with burgers, Japanese buns, yakitori skewers, carpaccio, wings and a Friday sandwich of challah and schnitzel.
