Rooster is a local coffee roastery set up by two childhood friends, whose love of coffee grew from curiosity into research and then into a roastery of their own; its site says they do not roast on autopilot, and that each bag is packed right after roasting. It sells single-origin beans from Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil and other countries, and blends of pure arabica or with robusta, for espresso machines, moka pots, V60 filters and finjan, online with delivery and at its home on HaOranim Street, in the old market compound. The religious council lists it as a café and coffee roastery. It opens from 07:30 on weekdays, stays open until 22:00 on Thursdays and closes at 15:00 on Fridays.
