A bistro and bar with a shaded garden on a quiet corner near the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, open from breakfast to late evening

Dubnov 8 is a bistro and bar founded in the early 2000s on one of the quiet corners of Tel Aviv, three minutes on foot from the Tel Aviv Museum, the Cameri Theatre and the opera house. A shaded garden adjoins it, which its site calls the favourite seat of most of its guests, morning, noon and evening. The site says the restaurant has become a regular meeting place for people of culture and art, business people and a Tel Aviv crowd. The kitchen works a seasonal menu, and the dish that has been there from the start is a liver pâté served with cherry jam and toast. Breakfast is served every day from opening, and tables are booked online or on 03-696-8655.
