An Irish-style pub and restaurant on Moriah Avenue, with a daytime kitchen and cocktails until late at night

The Duke is a pub and restaurant at 107 Moriah Avenue on the Carmel in Haifa, founded, its site says, by a couple, Ran and Liat, and offering what it calls an Irish experience: fine Irish beer beside cocktails, good music and chef dishes. By day it runs as DUKE DAY, a restaurant for families, students and business people looking for a break, with fresh salads, sandwiches, fish and seafood, meat and a long list of hot and cold drinks, and business lunches from Sunday to Friday until 17:00. At night it becomes a place to go out, with music, a wide choice of drinks and cocktails from around the world and a range of chef dishes, until the small hours. It opens every day at noon, delivers food in Haifa, sells gift cards and hosts events.
