Hummus Bardichev at Talpiot Market is one of four Haifa branches of a home-style family restaurant; the others are in the Carmel Center, Neve Sha'anan and the Haifa Mall. Its site says the hummus is made on the spot every day and ground to order, so that each plate arrives warm and fresh, and that each plate comes with one hot pita and, when that one is finished, another. Beside the hummus there are mashawsha, a sabich plate, salads and a vegan malabi for dessert. The lemonade is squeezed every day from lemons only, and the chips are baked in the oven in olive oil. The branch is open in the daytime from Sunday to Friday.
