Israel's first art museum, founded in 1932, on Shaul HaMelech Boulevard in central Tel Aviv, known for its modern and contemporary art and the angular Herta and Paul Amir Building

Its site says the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, founded in 1932, is Israel's first art museum, and that it collects, preserves and shows modern and contemporary art by Israeli and international artists, with a programme that also takes in design, architecture, performance, music and film. The main museum stands at 27 Shaul HaMelech Boulevard in the Golda Meir Cultural and Art Center, where the Paulson Family Foundation Building and the Herta and Paul Amir Building open onto a sculpture garden, with the Studio Café and the Pastel restaurant beside it. Its second home, the Eyal Ofer Pavilion at 6 Tarsat Boulevard on the city's Culture Square, is a conservation-listed building that reopened after renovation on 6 May 2023, and entry to its exhibitions is free. Children and young people up to 18 enter the museum free, and a free audio guide to the collection runs in a mobile app.
