Dixie Grill Bar calls itself a real New York steakhouse. Haim Cohen opened it in December 1993, and it has been running for more than 30 years. The menu sets classic American dishes beside cuts of beef and fusion dishes with an Asian leaning: its butcher picks each cut, and the hamburger is made by hand every day from fresh beef only, to the house recipe. It has breakfast, lunch, evening and children's menus, and opens at 09:00 on Friday and Saturday and at noon on the other days. By its site, Time Out magazine named it the country's culinary institution in 2013.
