A museum of Old Yishuv life in a 500-year-old house in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City

The Old Yishuv Court Museum is in a 500-year-old house in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City, and it offers a rare glimpse of the daily life of the people of the Old Yishuv in Jerusalem. Through their belongings it tells their owners' stories: of marriage and birth, of joy and sorrow, of coping with the hardships of daily life, of making do with little and of faith. The museum has a permanent display and changing exhibitions, hosts groups, families and individual visitors, and runs guided tours, study days and family activities through the year, especially around the holidays. Its price list includes a family ticket for parents and their children, and its directions lead visitors on foot from Jaffa Gate or from the Jewish Quarter car park.
