The World Holocaust Remembrance Center on Jerusalem's Mount of Remembrance, with the Holocaust History Museum, memorials and the Hall of Names on one campus

Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, stands on a 45-acre campus on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem, with museums, exhibitions, monuments, sculptures and memorial sites. The Holocaust History Museum covers over 4,200 square metres, mostly underground, and its site says it tells the story of the Shoah from a Jewish perspective, with an emphasis on the experience of the individual victim, through testimonies, artifacts, photographs and artworks. The grounds also hold the Museum of Holocaust Art, the Children's Memorial, the Hall of Remembrance, the Avenue of the Righteous Among the Nations, the Hall of Names and a synagogue. Entrance is free, visits are reserved in advance through its online system, and guided tours in several languages and an audio guide can be booked. Children under 10 are not admitted to the Holocaust History Museum, and its site suggests allowing one and a half to two hours for a visit.
