A museum of Jewish music from around the world in Nahalat Shiv'a, central Jerusalem, where seven spaces present the instruments and sounds of different Jewish cultures

The Hebrew Music Museum in Nahalat Shiv'a was opened on 12 April 2016 by Laurent Levy, a businessman who, its site says, wanted a single museum that connects people through the language of the heart, music. The tour runs through an architectural structure of seven spaces, one for each of the cultures it presents, with sounds, cultural richness and technological experiences. Visitors choose a tour with a personal guide, with stories and live musical demonstrations, or an independent tour with a tablet and the animated guide Grandpa Levi, for children over ten, and a virtual reality experience can be bought on its own. Tours are offered in Hebrew, English, French, Russian and Spanish, and its site recommends booking places in advance.
