The Mamilla branch of Cafe Rimon, a Jerusalem café chain, with a view of the Old City walls

Cafe Rimon is a Jerusalem chain of three cafés, on Ben Yehuda Street, in Mamilla and in Beit Shemesh; its site says the Rimon family has been part of the city's food since the earliest days of the Hebrew Yishuv, and that its long-standing restaurant dates back to the founding of the state. The Mamilla café, at 8 Yitzhak Kariv Street, opened in 2008, is styled in a classic way and looks out over the walls of the Old City. It serves chef's dishes and weekly specials, from breakfasts and benedicts to fish, salads and starters. It takes no bookings and no groups: tables go to whoever comes first. Its delivery line is *5159.
