Uma Young is the younger sister of Uma, the sushi and cocktail bar that has been open since 2016 in a listed building on HaNadiv Street. By the group's own account it skips waiter service for a faster pace, with modern Japanese food meeting Israeli directness, and it serves all of Uma's house rolls, named after people, from a quick order counter; its own page says to get ready to become addicted to its poke. The menu also runs to tartares, ceviche, gyoza, bao, curry and pad thai stir-fries, fried rice and kids' dishes. It opens at noon from Sunday to Thursday, on Friday until 15:00 and again on Saturday evening after Shabbat, and it is kosher, meat, under the Zichron Yaakov rabbinate. The same group runs Uma Bar & Sushi on HaNadiv and Uma Ni in Hadera.
