Casa Barone is the restaurant of the Beit Maimon hotel at 4 Tzahal Street, on the western slope of Zichron Yaakov, and by its own account it looks out over the sea, the fish ponds and the banana groves below. In summer guests sit on a wide terrace under a vine arbour in the breeze off the sea. Its breakfast buffet is open to the public every morning from 07:30 to 10:00 at 95 shekels a person, with cheeses from the Jacobs farm dairy, savoury and sweet pastries, sourdough breads, salads, omelettes and eggs; the rest of its trade is events and groups, with a dairy brunch buffet and kosher meat events, and a private room with a view. It says it is kosher under the rabbinate, it has free parking that also takes coaches, and it is not accessible to wheelchair users, though it has hearing loops.
