Sasson Bar is a culinary bar at 10 Horev Street, in the heart of Haifa's Ahuza neighbourhood, and one of the places of the Haifa Sinta Bar group. Its site describes a small, warm building with careful design, a place to drink and eat alone, as a couple, or with the family on a Friday evening. Chef Ram Lasri's menu draws on the countries around the Mediterranean and on memories of home, and changes all the time so regulars find something new: house hummus, handmade kubbeh and Moroccan cigars, braised veal brain, skewers from veal kebab to goose liver, steaks and a whole grouper from the taboon. The place opened in 2013. Its skewer evenings became a tradition, and now it runs a skewer lunch too, when ordering a main brings openers to the table.
