A Spanish tapas restaurant in downtown Haifa, open since 2014, with paella, Spanish beers on tap and sangria

Sangria is a Spanish tapas restaurant at 5 HaBankim Street, on the corner of Yafo Street, in downtown Haifa. Its site says it was founded in Haifa in 2014, sat for seven years in Moshe Aharon alley, and in 2020 grew and moved to HaBankim Street, a short walk from the German Colony. The kitchen is open to the room, and the menu changes with the season beside dishes that have been on it since the opening: tapas of vegetables, cheese, fish and seafood, and mains such as paella and oxtail. Beers are imported from Spain, the wines come from Priorat, Jumilla, Campo de Borja, Galicia and Rioja, and there is sangria. The restaurant also hosts flamenco, salsa and samba groups, and has a private gallery for events of up to 45 guests.
