What happens in Vayikra

Leviticus opens with God calling to Moses from the Tent of Meeting and setting out the offerings: the burnt offering, the meal offering and the peace offering, from the herd, the flock or birds, so that a poor person can bring one too. It goes on to the sin offering for a wrong done in error, by a priest, the community, a leader or an individual, and to the guilt offering.
